This webinar brought together the Sports Management BA Honours team to provide insights into key topics covered on our Sports Management undergraduate degree. The key theme of discussion will be around the importance of Elite and Grassroots sport, and which has a bigger role to play in the industry.

The expert panel is comprised of course leader, Richard West, and Senior Lecturer, Dr Anees Ikramullah. The webinar saw them debate and discuss the long and ongoing question of whether Elite or Grassroots is more important to sport. The debate was supplemented with contributions from leading figures from both industries. Which sector of sport has more value? Can both sectors of sport thrive without the other?
