Why does artificial turf melt?

Artificial turf can melt when concentrated reflections from low E grade glass magnify the sun’s rays. Objects in the path of the rays such as artificial turf, plants, vinyl sidings and patio furniture may be subjected to temperatures well in excess of those from normal exposure to the sun resulting in scorching and melting.

How does Contra Vision ScorchProtect Work?

By applying Contra Vision ScorchProtect to the outside of the glass, it will defuse the intensity of the reflection by reducing the reflective area and damage that may occur to artificial grass, plants, vinyl sidings and patio furniture.
