Oral Tranexamic acid for pigmentation

Facial pigmentation can occur due to various skin conditions. It can be distressing for patients and frustrating for the treating medical professionals. Oral tranexamic acid has been used "off label" to treat pigmentary dermatoses that affect the skin. This video looks at the conditions that could benefit, the dosage used and potential side effects.
