This video tutorial walks through the process of repairing a Bowflex Max Trainer that is no longer adjusting the resistance. The servo motor adjustment cam is in the wrong position and is unable to make adjustments to the magnetic brake assembly. Although this process may repair your Bowflex Max Trainer, it is possible that the motor will need to be replaced. The adjusting the servo motor cam does allow my Bowflex Max Trainer to adjust the resistance but I have had to perform this repair a couple of times recently. I believe that the motor will need to be replaced.
