The goal for today's creation is to breathe life back into a beautiful tea-light holder mould, turning it into a mesmerising Blue Lotus. Featuring an intricate design with an inner circle and an outer tier of petals, this large mould screams for more than a single pour. We're going to explore an easy layering technique to create a captivating colour gradient: starting light in the centre and gradually moving to darker shades towards the petal tips, all crowned with a vibrant yellow core. This project requires a little extra patience, but we promise the rich, dimensional results are absolutely worth the effort!

Our lotus palette features a shimmery blue base, a lighter blue pigment, and a darker indigo for the deepest gradient, plus a touch of white mica. The glorious golden caviar beads will perfectly mimic the yellow heart of a real blue lotus. To tackle this deeper mould and minimise air bubbles, we chose a slow-cure resin mix.
