In today’s video, we will be comparing the Maxi-cosi Stella with the Maxi-cosi Nova stroller.

Both strollers are stylish, practical, and innovative in design.

Fun fact: the Nova stroller won the red dot award for its well-conceived folding mechanism in France, and the Stella is a bronze winner of the national product awards in Ireland.

On that note, the biggest difference between these strollers is how they fold.

For both strollers, the toddler seat must be removed.

The Stella can be folded down in two steps. It is also self-standing if the second step is not completed.

The Nova folds down by itself after a light foot tap on the grey button between the wheels. This is a game changer! Who doesn’t love a stroller that can fold itself?

The second difference between these strollers is the wheels.

The Stella has 4 all-terrain shock-absorbing wheels, and the Nova has 3 all-terrain shock-absorbing wheels.

Both strollers have expandable sun canopies. The Stella definitely has the bigger canopy between the two.

Both strollers have interchangeable seats which allow you to keep a close eye on your little one.

The Stella has a removable and machine washable cover and an extra insert for more padding. The T-bar can be removed for easy access and the seat has an adjustable footrest area.

The Nova also has a removable and machine washable cover. The seat’s inlay is very thick and plush, providing additional comfort. The front bar can be removed for easy access and the seat has an adjustable footrest area.

In conclusion, both strollers are great quality options to consider. Typically, 4-wheel strollers provide for a smoother ride indoors whereas 3-wheel strollers seem to handle the outdoors with more grace.

For this reason, the Maxi-cosi Stella may be more convenient for indoor use and the occasional walk outside or to a nearby park.

The Maxi-cosi Nova may be a better-suited option for exploring the outdoors and going off-road.
