Suspiria movie: Quentin Tarantino in TEARS after private screening of horror remakeQUENTIN TARANTINO was in tears after a private screening of Luca Guadagnino’s horror remake of Suspiria.The Dakota Johnson led horror isn’t due to hit cinemas for another four months, but the Once Upon A Time in Hollywood director has already seen it.Speaking with La Repubblica, Luca revealed he showed his Suspiria remake to Tarantino last autumn.And it turns out the filmmaker best known for his aestheticisation of violence had a very strong response to the film after a private screening.Luca said: “I showed it to Quentin Tarantino. We’ve been friends since our jury duty at the Venice Film Festival.”The filmmaker continued: “I was nervous but eager to hear his advice.“We saw it at his place and his reaction warmed me.“He was enthusiastic about it, in the end he was crying and hugged me.“Because it’s a horror movie but also a melodrama, my goal was to make you look at the horror without being able to take [your eyes off the screen] because you’re captivated by the characters. Amazon is very happy.”Suspiria is about an aspiring dancer who goes to Germany to attend a famous ballet school in Berlin.Whilst there, students begin to disappear - and she soon realises the school has as dark history of witchcraft and horrific deaths.Tilda Swinton stars alongside Johnson as Madame Blanc, alongside Chloe Grace Moretz, Mia Goth and Jessica Harper.At CinemaCon late last month, audiences were shown footage of Suspiria - and it made quite the first impression.“It's one of the most f**ked up things I've ever seen at #CinemaCon,” Collider’s Steven Weintraub tweeted.“People at my table turned away from the screen.
