Sentinel is a blockchain-based tracking system that helps companies monitor their shipments and verify product authenticity in a secure and transparent way.

In Sentinel, when a manufacturer creates a shipment, the system generates a unique shipment ID and assigns a QR code to every box in that shipment. These QR codes are scanned at different checkpoints such as dispatch, transportation, warehouse entry, and final delivery.

Every scan updates the shipment status on the blockchain using smart contracts. Once the data is recorded, it cannot be changed or deleted, which makes the entire tracking process tamper-proof and trustworthy.

All stakeholders, including manufacturers, transporters, warehouses, and customers, can view real-time shipment updates through a live dashboard. The dashboard shows information like shipment status, scanned versus total boxes, and who last handled the shipment.

Customers can also scan QR codes to verify the authenticity of products and see their journey from the manufacturer to the final destination.

Sentinel removes dependency on centralized systems and reduces disputes, fraud, and fake product circulation, without using costly IoT sensors, making it a scalable and practical solution for modern supply chains.
