How to Sculpt Clay Twists

Miniezshops artist Elizabeth shows you how to make clay twists out of polymer clay. This concept can be used for hair, rope, sheepdogs etc.

Here's what you'll need:

- Clay

- A work mat (or piece of paper)

- An x-acto knife (or butter knife)

- Not necessary, but if you want to make lots of twists an extruder is helpful. Here’s the one I use:

Baking Instructions: for the brands Cosclay & Sculpey clay bake at 275F (135C) for 15 to 30minutes depending on the sculptures thickness.
