Jeremy Akel has been CEO of Omni Helicopters since 2019 and has led 4x growth in the business during his first five years of tenure. Gregorio Napoleone is Chairman at Omni Helicopters and is also co-Founder at private equity firm Stirling Square Capital Partners.

In this interview, broadcast journalist Georgie Frost interviews Jeremy Akel and Gregorio Napoleone about the growth journey of Omni Helicopters and the platform that it has built to access the new opportunities of the low altitude economy by deploying helicopter, eVTOL and UAV technologies across its network of bases and mission types in South America; whilst also eyeing potential regional expansion into Mexico and the United States of America.

Jeremy joined OHI in 2019 as Group CEO. He sets the company’s vision and enables its growth strategy. Jeremy has spent over 30 years in the air mobility industry, within roles including Group COO at Bristow Group and EVP at Milestone Aviation and started his career as an Accident Investigator at the National Transportation Safety Board, which grounded his beliefs in safety.

Jeremy has a degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado (USA) and an MBA from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business (USA).
