ZEBRA HAWORTHIA PROPAGATION - How to propagate The Zebra Haworthia pups

Описание к видео ZEBRA HAWORTHIA PROPAGATION - How to propagate The Zebra Haworthia pups

Zebra Haworthia plants send out pups along the base. This is a great way to propagate your plant. In this case, the haworthia has pushed pups right out of the center of the plant, in the foliage! let's do this together!

I found that the easiest way to get the pups off of the mother plant is simply to gently but firmly wiggle the pup, holding it as far down the pup as you can. The pup should come off fairly easily.

Then you can pot them up in some well draining soil with some support if needed.
Make sure to wait at least three days before you water the pup. It's important to allow the wound to callus before introducing water.
OR
You can leave the pups out for at least three days to callus in the open air and then pot them up.
Then start regular watering. (water only when soil is completely dry.)
Let it root!
You will know it's well rooted when you wiggle the pup and it feels solid in the soil.

TIP
Use sticks or small rocks to help prop the pup up until it sets down roots.
