Narrowboat Lift Out, Hull Blacking, Painting, Fenders - S07E07

Back in June 2017, Aslan's hull was given several coats of bituminous blacking, in preperation for her Maiden Voyage along the UK's canal network.

Fastforward 27 months to September 2019 and it was time again for Aslan to be lifted out of the water, at Garstang Marina on the Lancaster Canal - and where she would be pressure washed, then followed by 3 fresh coats of blacking, a repaint of her gunwhales as well as new rope-fenders bow and stern.
