Self-esteem Tips from Historical Places (St Anne's Well) Episode 3

This week I am at St Anne's well.
An old Pilgrimage site dating back to Norman times. Where Pilgrims would gather and get the water from the natural spring which was believed to hold healing properties. Now, it is surrounded by houses and a busy road called Priest hill so it's hard to imagine what it once was like. Although, the fact it still exists is amazing! All sorts of people would have stood where I stood so that's really cool. Located near the old Reading Abbey and the River Thames it's in a prime location.

Sorry about the traffic though. I tried to time it where I thought there wouldn't be many cars but it turned out to be a really busy road!
