"What you see a flaw in you ... may be the most beautiful of You", Uncle "Mesbah" tries to explain to the little lantern "Diaa" that what he thinks a flaw in himself may be an important feature distinguishing him from others, through the story of the prince who chose the smaller lantern of all the dazzling lanterns, to be the lantern of the palace.

" ما تراه أنت عيبا فيك ... قد يكون اجمل ما فيك" ، بهذه الجملة يحاول عم مصباح أن يوضح للفانوس ضياء الصغير أن ما يظن أنه عيبا في نفسه قد يكون ميزة مهمة تميزه عن الآخرين ، وذلك من خلال حكاية الأمير الذي اختار أصغر فانوس من بين كل الفوانيس المبهرة ، ليكون فانوس القصر!
