Last night was more than just a celebration — it was a gathering of hearts, stories, and generations coming together as one. Last night, I had the privilege of meeting so many wonderful people.
The 18th Birthday of Sean Dwayne and Faye Yvaine was filled with warmth, laughter, and genuine love. Nothing short of amazing. The energy of the room was warm, vibrant, and overflowing with love. From the moment the program began, you could already feel that this wasn’t just an event — it was a milestone wrapped in family pride.
Mom was nervous (as every loving mother would be), but I kept reminding her, “Calm down, ag-anges, I got you.” And we truly did. The night flowed beautifully — from the fun games to the heartfelt messages that left no dry eye in the room.
One of the most powerful moments? The father-daughter dance.
But what made it even more unforgettable was during the 18 Candles, when Phoebe (the older sister) shared that she never had her own debut celebration. Without hesitation, I borrowed the 18 Roses from Faye Yvaine and invited Phoebe to dance with her dad — to fill that missing piece, to close a chapter. And just like that… tears. Her tears. Mom’s tears. The cousins’ tears. And yes — I almost joined the crying committee too. Hahaha.
I had the privilege of connecting with their entire clan, sharing meaningful conversations with Sir Dicson, and even receiving the sweetest compliment from Grandma — who told me I must host her 75th birthday. I jokingly said, “Medem, aramiden ta nga debut mo met lang anya!” She laughed and said yes — basta Kalinga tayo! That simple invitation alone made my night even more special because it meant the event truly made an impact.
The bond of this family, their entire clan, is rare. The love is loud. The support is real. The energy is contagious!
