The Pink Thing

Описание к видео The Pink Thing

The Pink Thing was developed by Graham White in the 1980s as a fly for the Northern Australian saltwater barramundi fishery. It has proven itself over and over as a fish catcher.

I've tied this one on a 2/0 but you can tie this pattern as small or as large as you like, depending on your target of the day.

There are a number of ways to tie it, as well as a number of variations. This is just one way. Variations like the Black and Barred are especially good in dirty water.

Materials in this tie:
Gamakatsu SL12S 2/0
Medium/Large (3mm) beadchain
30lb mason hard
4x white hackle feathers
2x grizzly hackle feathers
White bucktail
Crystal flash
Pink marabou

Alternatives to the marabou collar include schlappen, dubbing brushes, and cross-cut zonker...
