WHAT IS THIS STORY ABOUT?
The Great Big Hairy Boggart:
This story is set in Ireland and tells how a bad-tempered, stupid boggart is outwitted by a farmer and his wife. This is a traditional story said to originate in Mumby, Lincolnshire. Illustrated by Ken Stott and narrated by Dermot Crowley.

WHAT IS STORY TELLER?
Story Teller was a series of magazines published by Marshall Cavendish from December 1982 and throughout 1983 as a fortnightly part-work. Each magazine contained a selection of children's stories from traditional folk tales to contemporary works written especially for the series. It also included poems.

The stories were accompanied by lavish colour artwork and an audio cassette tape featuring music, sound effects and narration by professional actors and celebrities of the time, including Richard Briers, Sheila Hancock, Derek Jacobi, and Nigel Lambert.
