Sydney Grange, Assistant Garden Manager at Victory Gardens for Peace, a biointensive research, education and demonstration site located in Mendocino, CA.

The third webinar in the series continues to focus on the environmental impacts of agriculture and starts to explore the role it can play in restoring ecosystems and healing our world, while feeding a growing population. Following our conversation on 10/30/20 with ecologist George Wuerthner, we continued to look at the impacts of beef production in particular and the claims that better beef production is key to ecosystem restoration and cooling the planet. We also started to look at other approaches to building soil and restoring ecosystems, and were joined for this by a local biointensive grower whose approach prioritizes the minimization of land use.
