Songkran Festival in Thailand is on 13 - 15 April every year!! Thai people go out for a 3-day long holiday and celebrate enjoy the water fight festival of throwing/splashing water at each other in public as April is the hottest month of the year in Thailand.

Songkran is the Thai New Year's national holiday. Annual festival from 13th to 15th April, people start splashing water on main areas and most places in Thailand (Think before where you go!).
That's returning to their hometown as an important part of Songkran, going to temples, pouring scented water on statues of Buddha, asking for blessings, especially young people going to meet their families or elderly relatives to pour water on palms, or some people who we respect, senior colleagues, Bosses or others.

Don't be afraid to get wet!! (Super SOAKED!!) Go out and join the biggest water fight celebration.
Protect your valuables and use waterproof bags properly during the party, keep an eye on your belongings from time to time.

Do not drink and drive and throw water at monks, the elderly, or young children.
