Here’s what you need to know:
➡️ State Pension Increases: If you’re on the new state pension (for those reaching pension age from April 6, 2016), you’ll see an increase of 4.1%, meaning around £230-£232.50 per week – that’s an extra £473 per year! 🎉

➡️ If you’re on the old state pension (retired before April 2016), you’ll see a rise from £169.50 to £176.45 per week, or about £9,175 per year. 💰

➡️ State Pension Age Changes: For those born in the early 70s, keep in mind the pension age will increase from 66 to 67 in 2026, and this could continue to rise. 🕒

➡️ Tax-Free Cash Drawdown: If you’re planning to access your private pension, the age you can start withdrawing 25% tax-free will rise from 55 to 57 in 2028. 🏦
