MIFGS 2024: New Nordic Notes Garden Tour

2024 Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show, Show Garden 'New Nordic Notes', designed by Annika Zetterman and Kajsa Björne and constructed by Landart Landscapes and Hopkins Construction.

We had the privilege to interview both Annika, and Kajsa who designed the gorgeous garden which won a silver gilt medal at this year's show. The two have been friends for 20 years and have finally had the opportunity to work, and create together.

The garden embodies the essence of traditional Scandinavian design, showcasing plants and flora typical of that region and aesthetic while remaining viable in Melbourne's climate. Crafted predominantly from timber, each element is meticulously cared for, ensuring longevity and enhancing its inherent beauty. It serves as a sanctuary for relaxation, contemplation, and rejuvenation, inviting visitors to unwind and breathe in its tranquil atmosphere.

We want to thank Annika, and Kajsa for allowing us to enter their beautiful garden and spend the time talking with us.
