Get Physical serve up an early Christmas present with a fantastic new EP from Cristian Viviano presents Solwings. Self-taught Italian musician Viviano has been hotly tipped since day one. He has hosted his own events in Ibiza, played all round Europe and released plenty of EPs and albums before now on the likes of Safari Electronique, Natural Rhythm and even on Richie Hawtin’s Minus as part of the ENTER compilation.

Solwings is his newest project and is meant to embody his idea of diffusing light and love through music, with analog equipment and eclectic influences. The excellent ‘Djivone’ is a magical house track with an enchanting lead melody line that is exotic and colourful with gorgeous keys adding to the mix. They ring out above loose, tribal drums with a chanting male vocal from Bahramji adding soul and depth, and is the sort of standout track that will get the attention of any dance floor Next comes ‘Astral Connection’ which is just alive and dynamic, with tinkling percussion and broad synth smears bringing a perfect sunset or sunrise house vibe. It’s a deep, spiritual track once more and is majestic in its melody.
