Aileex Billiards Tables in Taiwan

Two years ago for my birthday, my wife and I were in Taichung (Taiwan) and ended up at a billiards supplier. I remember they had accessories on the first floor, a table in their basement and lots of catalogues (They sold Brunswick I believe). In upper floors there were disassembled second hand tables. We settled on their own brand, Aileex, which is primarily sold here in Asia, especially Thailand. Some time after that, the owner and his son arrived and put the table together in one afternoon. I can't believe how heavy those slate pieces were! Luckily, there's an elevator. I chose blue felt (among quite a variety).

I now play at least once a week and have no complaints with the table or the equipment. I won't tell you exactly what I paid, but you definitely should be paying well-under $2000 USD for a table like this in Taiwan. I was satisfied with the price we paid and hope to get years of use out of this table. It came with a cover, rack, full set of balls, four sticks, brush, chalk, gloves, and a mounted scoreboard.
