Yokkaichi Asunarou Railway is a 7km long railway located in Yokkaichi City, Mie Prefecture. Adopts 762mm gauge (2 feet 6 inches), which is rare in Japan. Like many light railways, it was considered to be abolished due to its small transport capacity, but it won out over motorization by improving its equipment.
"ASU" in the route's name means "tomorrow" in Japanese. "Narou" refers to narrow, or narrow gauge.
