In this video, David Sharpe chronicles his experience and thoughts on riding the American Thunder roller coaster at Six Flags St. Louis. Before David Sharpe became a roller coaster enthusiast, he learned to love roller coasters by riding the wooden roller coasters. With some experience with roller coasters such as the Timber Wolf and Prowler at Worlds of Fun, American Thunder was the next possible step for him to enjoy roller coasters. Fast forward to today and he still enjoys riding American Thunder because it's a familiar ride for him and it's still enjoyable even after he has experienced bigger and better roller coasters. Hence why he often calls American Thunder his warm up roller coaster because it prepares him for the other roller coasters at Six Flags St. Louis.
Nevertheless, the experiences David has had with roller coasters up to this point has shown him that there are good and bad roller coasters. Many of the attributes of these roller coasters will stand out to David a little bit more because he is a 6'4" tall individual, hence the name of this series. Thus, some points expressed in these videos can be different than the opinions of others.

These five ranks will give you a simple synopsis of David's entire thoughts and opinions on roller coasters and amusement parks. These include the all-star, star, first class, second class, and one and done ranks. Each rank is described in fuller detail within the video. Nonetheless, David's experience with American Thunder has left him with a good impression and will be more than welcome to ride American Thunder again in the near future.
