The Patek Philippe 3940J is a 36mm yellow gold perpetual calendar. The watch had a 21 year running span, kicking off in 1985 and retiring in 2006 giving way to the 5140. This watch represents a period in the middle, featuring the hallmarks of the early models but the later dial. The watch measures 8.5mm thick and 43.5mm from lug to lug, making it a very traditionally sized piece.
