Funding recap​ webinar: DOE Programs for​ Smart Manufacturing and​ Battery Collection & Recycling​

In this live webinar, the DOE Manufacturing and Energy Supply Chains (MESC) Office reviews two competitive grant programs funded by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law that recently completed initial rounds of funding: the State Manufacturing Leadership program and the State and Local Program for Battery Collection Recycling and Reprocessing. The webinar also features grant awardees and other guests who speak to the importance of manufacturing and battery recycling.

The State Manufacturing Leadership Program supports states to establish or expand programs, small- and medium-sized manufacturers to access smart manufacturing technologies. The state and local program for Battery Collection Recycling and Reprocessing Program assists states and units of local government in the establishment or enhancement of battery collection, recycling, and reprocessing. Highlights from both programs describe the past funding rounds, and spotlights expected program impacts.
