31-01-23 - Catstye Cam

My latest video is from a recent trek to the summit of Catstye Cam. It's part of the Eastern fells, and has stunning views of Red Tarn, Helvellyn and the Striding and Swirral edges. The summit stands at just under 3000 ft and is often overlooked by walkers who naturally gravitate towards spectacular Helvellyn.

This walk was very challenging due to one factor - the wind! It was so strong that it knocked me off my feet at one point. So if you've never climbed this fell, it's well worth the effort, and on a fine day the views are absolutely stunning.
