Valencia (The Shadows cover).

Valencia is a pasodoble song composed by José Padilla for the 1924 Zarzuela La bien amada and included in the 1926 silent film Valencia, with lyrics translated by Lucienne Boyer, Jacques Charles, and Clifford Grey. Recorded by Paul Whiteman & his Orchestra, it became one of the biggest hits of 1926, topping the charts for 11-weeks beginning March 30, 1926.

In 1963 The Shadows recorded an EP in Barcelona and Valencia was one of four tracks recorded.

The tune is the property of its rightful owners and this video is made solely for the purpose of study, review and/or critical analysis.

Equipment used was my Fender Stratocaster 60's NOS Custom Shop guitar into my TVS 3 echo and then into my Vox AC15. The backing track is The Shadows with Hanks lead guitar removed.
