Amex Gold Card Review | STILL Worth It In 2022? (WHAT YOU MUST KNOW)

In this video, I review the Amex Gold Credit Card, where we go over the main features of the card, as well as the pros and cons of it. With the American Express Gold card still being one of the most popular ones out there, especially by Amex, many people wonder if the card is still worth it. One of the headlining features of the Amex Gold Card is that there is a $250 annual fee, which could be a bit steep for some people.

However, to counter the $250 annual fee, the American Express Gold Card does offer $240 in statement credits from Uber and Dining. If these credits are properly used by the Gold Card by Amex, you can practically offset the entire annual fee. In addition to that, you'll be receiving 60,000 bonus points as long as you spend at least $4,000 within the first 6 months with your Amex Gold Card.

If you receive the spend bonus with your Gold Card, you'll be off to a great start. On top of that, you'll also be receiving 4x points per dollar spent on dining and groceries; then, on flights, you'll receive 3x points per dollar spent. Even though on all other purchases, you'll only be receiving 1x point per dollar spent, still, it's better than nothing.
