Finally changed the deck on my Honda HF 2417 tractor mower. I bought the mower new 15 years ago and it is still in great condition apart from the deck. Non OEM deck cost about €200 without any parts on it. In the video I transfer all the parts off the old mower deck onto the new deck.There was one fly in the ointment though. The new deck did not have the air intake holes for the fans that the old mower deck had.
Simple solution was to drill 6 new holes in the deck to allow airflow to force the clippings into the rear grass box.
I had left this for too long but glad I did it. Collecting and cutting grass perfectly.
