A tribute to the late Dennis Liwewe, aka The Voice of Zambian Football

A sad day in the history of Zambian football as our nation weeps again; Dennis Liwewe, aka The Voice of Zambian Football has passed away at the age of 78.
Arguably one of, if not the best football commentators Africa has ever produced. His passion and dedication to the our Zambian national team, aka the Chipolopolo (meaning "copper bullets") was second to none. We shall never see another of his kind. I know players on the pitch inspire the kids to watch or become professional players but Mr Liwewe inspired a few to get into commentary as well. What a great man and what a legacy he leaves behind.
Zambia has lost one great man, and one true icon.
