I've had this one on my mind for a while. Of course, being a Falcom game, it's no surprise that the music in Brandish VT is great, but not too long ago, I and a group of Falcom enthusiasts came together to try and figure out who composed which track, since individual track credits were never given for these old soundtracks.
I have reason to believe that this track, as well as most of Brandish VT's soundtrack, was composed by Satoshi Arai, the last member to join the Sound Team before the company abandoned the PC-98, and he is REALLY good! He didn't have many songs in the games leading up to this, so I guess you could say this was the game that allowed him to prove himself.
Also, I did not capture this footage. It came from a Japanese livestreamer. Which, by the way, it is CRAZY how often I find footage of games from Japanese livestreamers! Most of them I would consider far too obscure to possibly have any, but I was pleasantly surprised to find this!
