Editing Journey:

Get Out is one of my favorite scary films so I'm glad I got a chance to make trailer 2! Chris Washington has a new film called NOPE so I used that to begin the trailer for fresh scenes. Then we get a flashback using clips from the ending of Get Out. Crown Heights (2017) had a line "if you focus on your breathing it will bring you out of your mind and back into your body" was perfect to make Rose hypnotize someone. Allison Williams has a new film called Horizon Line which we get a nice clip of her driving showing that he character Rose has survived.

Fortunately because of the popularity of Get Out there are many fan film available for fresh clips. We get a scene of someone getting hypnotized this time a white guy. One big idea I came up with is to put the US film in the same world us GET OUT. So we get the actors from US like Winston Duke and Lupita Nyong'o. Red and Gabe meets Rose in scene I edited. Then I made her hypnotize Gabe like he did to Chris. Overall was happy with the result. I think Get Out and US fit perfectly in the same world. Horror trailers are always fun to edit thanks to their simply nature of trailer sound effects.
