Unlucky - Lucent Citadel Trifecta - EU#1 / World#2 - 253306 Score -

After 32 raiding days on PTS "Unlucky" achieved the first Lucent Citadel Trifecta on the EU server just on day 1 of the new chapter release. We were slightly behind Genesis, who got the world first, which is an incredible result and i am very proud of everyones performance over the course of the progression.

We chose a pretty defensive approach overall with lots of barrieres and pretty safe strategies cause we aimed for a day 1 trifecta from the beginning (and didn't care for score too much). Therefore we also did not make use of any new sets or scribing skills cause we obviously couldn't access them right away when the servers came online. We cleared the trifecta second try and we actually could have maybe finished at least 30 minutes earlier, which maybe could have been a world first, but our first run failed due to a bug that teleported the knot away and therefore wiped us unfortunately. But as far as i know Genesis also had to deal with bugs so it's just fair they still got the world first.

Because of the overall "play safe" mindset you will see me block casting in trash and shielding a lot on last boss cause slightly more damage was less important than avoiding mistakes/deaths this time. Next time i will most likely try to play a little bit more aggressive again.
