Asphalt 9: Legends Great game.

Asphalt 9: Legends is an arcade racing game, I only tried the solo career mode - it's fun, exciting even the match takes less than a minute to finish.

Tracks/performance:
As an arcade game cars regularly run on rooftops, break the window and fly high, can do a 1080 flip (to earn boost) before landing on the street. It has a feeling of TrackMania, lots of boards to fly, N2O boosts and different roads to pick. As for the environment, I wasn't expecting much but during my 1-hour gameplay, I raced under the Golden Gate Bridge, the other 2 maps felt like Tibet and Edinburgh, maps are rich and colorful. In career mode each season contains 10+ matches, rewarding player with money and a piece of blueprints to unlock new cars.

Cars:
It is smart to let the player drive a Ferrari and do free roaming before entering the main story - give the player insights of the experience and encouragement to keep playing. All cars have ranks, I started from class D and unlocked new cars by earning all the blueprints, which can only be earned in matches. The cars are balanced: It is easy to keep the car compatible to win races, and I enjoyed the game without paying real money. In addition, I learned I could pay $2.99 to unlock a luxury brand like a Porsche, however the car fits in my current rank level - class D. I don't think I could buy a higher class car until I rank up by playing more matches - good strategy for sustainability of a PvP game.

I played for an hour and had fun. Would love to come back when I run out of racing games.
