Onigiri (rice ball) is one of the most popular dishes in Japan especially made for eating outside such as at a picnic.It’s easy to make and convenient to carry. Please try this at home!

Onigiri (Rice Ball)

Rice (short grain rice)
Nori (seaweed)- cut to the size

Salmon Onigiri:
Fresh salmon
2 tablespoon Salt
1 tablespoon Sugar
10oz water

Spicy Tuna Onigiri:
2 tablespoon Tuna Can
1 tablespoon Mayonnaise
A dash of Hot Sauce (Sriracha)
and Soy Sauce

Mixed Onigiri:
Dried Bonito Flakes
1/2 teaspoon Soy Sauce
1/4 teaspoon Mirin (sweet sake)
1 tablespoon Tenkasu (dried wheat flour)
A pinch of Sesami and Aonori (dried seaweed powder)
