Shredding residual wood from production and saving heating oil and disposal costs—that is what OWI GmbH achieves with the UNTHA shredder LR1400. The throughput capacity of the waste wood shredder is approx. 1,000 kg/h. It efficiently processes large and bulky residual wood with a high metal content, such as plywood panels, veneers, pallets, and solid wood.

The UNTHA LR1400 is a powerful single-shaft shredder. Its cutting mechanism is extremely robust and therefore resistant to metal inclusions in the wood – these are shredded without any problems.
Residual wood can be fed directly into the hopper via a feed conveyor belt, manually or using tipping boxes. The wood chips are fed via a sophisticated screw conveyor system to the drum magnet, which separates the metal content fully automatically.
