Cycling From Dakar to Lagos - Full Documentary

Trans West African road has been calling me for years and finally I set out to explore it. I cycled 4,000km from Dakar, Senegal to Lagos, Nigeria, crossing 12 land borders and 11 countries namely; Senegal, Gambia, Guinea-Bissau, Guinea Conakry, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo, Benin and then finally Nigeria.

Each of this countries has a special story.
In the early stage of the journey whilst approching Guinea, I learned about the swampy road, so I devised a plan to push my bike 5km across the floods and reconnect with the lonely road on the other side. What ensured was an adventure I will never forget.
I experienced genuine care from strangers, from the young men who assisted me in the jungle to the young ladies who invited me into their warm homes and offering me food and shelter with no payment wanted.

This bikepacking film features nature, villages, cities and the harshness of road, it also showcases the beauty of Africa, the people and culture. Enjoy it!
