Regarding my Patreon, it's set up around a graphic novel I'm working on. The reason being is that it can be months between animation projects - especially if full-time work gets in the way. The graphic novel is something I can produce on a frequent and consistent basis, and the money earned can be used to support my animations.

So think of it this way - pledging money via my Patreon goes towards my animations and you get access to my graphic novel as a bonus. Or vice versa. depending on your preferences.
Full disclosure however - while I have finished with the aforementioned animation studio's project, I've started on their next one. It is a longer production cycle, so the workload won't be as intense but will still demand much of my time and take me through most of 2018. If you think it's greedy of me be asking for Patreon pledges when I have full time employment, you would be right, however I'm thinking long term - if I can get things thoroughly established now, I'll be in a better position once the project has finished and may be able to continue working on my own productions exclusively. Something I would very much like to be able to do.
