Razorback to River - Lerderderg State Forrest, Victoria , Australia.

After looking at the maps of the area i walk down and extremely rugged and un mapped spur to the river in search of the old gold workings from the 1800's.
Finding a couple of spots where the old timers set up camp and worked, even an old what looks like a fireplace. Also finding more workings and what looked like a flume foundation for a later walk to go and have a look at in the area.
Probably the hardest walk Ive done so far with and almost vertical drop in some parts
down a cliff to get to the river.

The SES has been called to a rescue call a week in the area on average in the last couple of months, one as recent as the weekend of the 19/10/24
