Demonstration of the combat system in the Mask of Dead 2: Shadow of Pelagius project.

ATBS - Active Time Battle System. This game uses a custom version of the combat system using the initiative scale.

The game shows one of three indicators before each enemy attack:
Blue, magic attack.
Red, physical attack.
Gray, special skill.
Indicators are located next to the portraits of opponents.
There are many ways in your arsenal of skills to prevent taking damage.
Main three ways:
Counterattack. Activate this skill before an enemy uses a red indicator attack and you will deal as many hits to the enemy as he wanted to deal to you.
Dodge. A skill that allows you to avoid magical and physical damage.
Stun. Headshot, Crush, and Stun Ingot prevent the enemy from using any skill, including special skills.

Build tactics in the most appropriate way to cause as much damage as possible and receive as little damage as possible.
