Tottenham Hotspur head coach Thomas Frank revealed his excitement in being involved in the UEFA Champions League on Friday as the North London confirmed their opponents following the draw in Monaco.

Speaking exclusively courtesy of AIA Singapore, Frank, 51, also spoke of his side's bright start to the season with wins over Burnley and Manchester City, putting them second in the Premier League standings, behind Arsenal on goal difference.

Tottenham now know that they will face Borussia Dortmund, Villarreal, Slavia Praha and Copenhagen at home, and travel away to play PSG, Eintracht Frankfurt, Bodo/Glimt and Monaco across the league phase in eight matches stretching all the way into January.

The exact order and dates of the games will be announced in the next couple of days.

Frank also spoke of the positive impact of Joao Palhinha, who is on loan for the season frm Bayern Munich, and Cristian Romero stepping up as captain following the departure of South Korean icon Son Heung Min.

Tottenham Hotspur face Bournemouth on Saturday at home ahead of the international break.
