This video is a tribute to artisans who make and maintain musical instruments. Most of us do not even know how these instruments are made .
The Saraswathi Veena requires restoration work every now and then . Skilled artisans who do this, literally breathe life into the instrument. A poorly maintained veena does not give the pleasant vocal timbre that is natural to it.
