Sion James 2023-2024 Tulane Highlights

6’6 Junior G Sion James just shook the portal announcing his commitment to Duke, transferring from Tulane University out of the American Athletic Conference. The Georgia native averaged 14 Pts, 5.4 Rbs, and 2.7 Ast per game this season for the Tulane Green Wave, shooting 51.4% from the field and 38% from three-point land. James’s physical, downhill and aggressive style of play allows him to attack defenders and get easy buckets in the paint, while his consistent 3-point shot allows the floor to be well spaced. James was ranked first overall in minutes played per game this past season in the American Conference at just about 37 mins per game. Interesting to see how Duke uses Sion James, as he plays well off the ball, is an excellent cutter and easily finds himself maneuvering through defenses with his strength and agility. Follow Sion James for his senior season as he looks to make an immediate impact for the Blue Devils in the ACC.
