Korakas Wreck

Korakas Cape is the Norteastern corner of the island 30mins away from Petra Base. The wreck is from 1943, a ~25m long metal merchant ship. It lays on its side, bow at about -16m, and stern at -28m. It is in very good condition, and it is possible to enter in a very small part of it. The site around the wreck is also very interesting, with a big metal anchor, a number of good condition amphorae, and huge pile of cement sacks that are now like rock on the sea floor! Marine life is also very rich!
