Magical Trail Camera Scene: Deer, Foxes, and Squirrels with Nature's Melodies

The foxes I have been taking care of since Comet, my Catahoula mix rescue, found the fox kits 4+ years ago and I have been feeding them ever since. The young fox is a 2nd generation (my Grandson :)) fox that the mom brought to me this winter. I am major happy they are doing well.

After Comet and I stared coming every day to feed the foxes, we discovered a handicapped white piebald deer about 4 years ago. We kept her alive until last fall when there were cayotes in the woods. There was also a male white piebald but he only lasted a few months.

In the process I became the caretaker of this small herd of piebald deer. It is not obvious but two (at least ) of the females carry the Piebald gene. As long as they mate with normal male deer the offspring are normal with no Piebald gene.

Rarely, when Piebald males come through and mate with the Piebald females we get more actual Piebald deer. This seems pretty rare but I watch for them every year.
