If you've come here, it's probably because you're experiencing the same seemingly unsolvable problem with your Bluesound Node 2 device:


It will stay stuck with a solid red light forever.


You've reached the support service, you've tried to reboot 20 times, factory reset, manual firmware update with a USB, ... to no avail.


According to many owners with the exact same issue, this is due to a badly designed power supply (capacitors in particular).
It's so common that it deserves to be called a "hidden defect"


It was quite disturbing to witness Bluesound support delete my post on their Support platform. Are they trying to hide the problem ?


They basically said there's nothing they can do, I should go see my local store. Well, all I get is "you can buy a brand new Node 2i". No thanks !


I love my Node 2 ! Until I realize their policy in terms of handling widespread defect is far from being professional and on par with who they want to be on the Hifi scene.


Please comment below so we get a sense of how widespread that it.

As you can see in the comments, I've changed capacitors or even the power supply entirely, now ethernet lights etc don't act up but it still won't boot up and the red light remains red for ever. As I see, numerous folks suffer from the same bad design. Still haven't found a proper fix.
