Trong thời đại COVID, khách hàng thường ưu tiên các giao dịch không tiền mặt nhằm hạn chế tiếp xúc với vi khuẩn, tạo điều kiện cho thanh toán điện tử bùng nổ. Thế nhưng tại Việt Nam, các doanh nghiệp vừa và nhỏ vẫn còn chậm chân trong việc bắt kịp xu hướng thanh toán mới này.
Dù vậy, bà Winnie Wong, Giám đốc Quốc gia của Mastercard Việt Nam, Campuchia và Lào, tin rằng: song song với cuộc chuyển đổi số, hình thức thanh toán không tiếp xúc (contactless payment) sẽ ngày càng phổ biến.

As COVID-wary shoppers seek safety from germs in cashless transactions, digital payments have boomed. And where consumers go, businesses must follow. Bucking the trend, Vietnam’s SMEs are stubbornly clinging to the old way of doing things. But according to Winnie Wong, Country Manager of Vietnam, Cambodia & Laos for Mastercard, there are early signs that contactless payments are going mainstream as digital transformation is becoming more widespread.
