SIRIM MS 828:2011 is the Malaysian Standard that specifies requirements for retro-reflective markings (light reflectors) on the rear and sides of heavy goods vehicles, including trucks and lorries.

We need MS 828:2011 to help reduce the number of accidents during low light conditions which involve trucks and trailers. Applying conspicuity markings (light reflectors) reduce accidents and saves lives. Through implementation of the MS828:2011 the local authorities, Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan (JPJ) have made rear and side conspicuity marking compulsory.
